TalentScore Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of TalentScore and have two parts:

  • Part A: Candidate Terms - If you're a job seeker using TalentScore to find employment
  • Part B: Employer Terms - If you're an employer posting jobs and hiring candidates

Please read the section(s) that apply to you. If you're both a candidate and an employer, both Part A and Part B apply to you.

Part A: Candidate Terms and Conditions

By registering or submitting your CV to TalentScore, you agree to these terms.


1. Our Service

TalentScore is an AI-powered recruitment marketplace powered by Omnimatch. We match job seekers with employers using automated CV analysis and intelligent matching algorithms.

Important: Job matching is completely free for all candidates (UK Employment Agency Standards requirement). We offer optional paid subscriptions for advanced insights and analytics, but you never pay to access job opportunities.


2. Service Tiers

Free Tier (Always Free)

  • Upload your CV and set your job preferences
  • Automated job searches
  • AI-powered matching to relevant employers and jobs
  • Basic match scores for opportunities
  • Email notifications for new matches
  • Apply to unlimited jobs

Plus Tier (£9.99/month)

  • Everything in Free, plus:
  • Unlimited insights into your candidate profile - including salary estimator, career analysis, and profile strength assessment
  • Unlimited insights into connected jobs - understand what employers are looking for and how you match their requirements

UK EAS Compliance: The Plus subscription provides analytical insights and enhanced information about your matches. It does not affect your access to job opportunities or employer introductions. Job matching remains free for all candidates.


3. Subscription & Payment

Billing: Plus subscriptions are billed monthly at £9.99/month

Free Trial: New users receive 2 weeks of Plus free on signup

Cancellation: Cancel anytime through account settings or by emailing privacy@talentscore.pro. No refunds for partial months.

Downgrade: You can switch back to the Free tier anytime without losing access to job matching


4. Eligibility

You must be 18+ and legally entitled to work in the UK.


5. Your CV

Ownership: You own your CV. By submitting it, you grant us permission to use, store, and share it with employers for recruitment purposes.

Requirements: Your CV must be accurate and not contain false, defamatory, or illegal content.

Storage: We store CVs on Cloudflare infrastructure. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@talentscore.pro (subject to 12-month legal retention for employment records).


6. AI Processing (UK GDPR Required)

What Our AI Does:

  • Parses your CV to extract skills, experience, and qualifications
  • Matches your profile to relevant jobs
  • Generates match scores and summaries for employers
  • Plus tier only: Generates deep insights about your profile, salary estimates, and personalized career analysis

Your Rights:

  • Request human review of any AI decision
  • Opt-out of automated processing (may limit opportunities)
  • Contest AI assessments at privacy@talentscore.pro

Limitation: AI is not perfect. Final hiring decisions are made by humans, not our system.


7. Sharing Your CV (UK EAS Required)

Consent: We will only share your CV with employers when:

  • You apply for their jobs directly
  • You give explicit consent for us to introduce you

Control: You can withdraw consent or make your profile private at any time through account settings.

Disclaimer: We're not responsible for how employers use your data after we share it.


8. Your Obligations

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your CV up to date
  • Notify us of availability changes
  • Do not create fake profiles or misuse the platform
  • Behave professionally with employers

9. Your Data Rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion
  • Withdraw consent
  • Lodge complaints with the ICO (https://ico.org.uk)

10. Disclaimers

No Guarantees: We don't guarantee employment, job accuracy, or employer conduct. Plus subscriptions do not guarantee better job matches or hiring outcomes.

Liability: Our liability to you is limited to £100, except for death, injury, or fraud (which cannot be limited by law).

Platform Availability: We may suspend service for maintenance without liability.


11. Termination

You: Close your account anytime via settings or email privacy@talentscore.pro. Plus subscriptions will be cancelled immediately.

Us: We may terminate your account for breach of terms, false information, or unlawful activity.


12. General

Governing Law: England and Wales

Changes: We'll notify you of material changes by email. Continued use means acceptance.

Platform-Wide Policies: TalentScore operates on the Omnimatch platform. Platform-wide policies (Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy) apply to all marketplaces.

By using TalentScore as a candidate, you acknowledge:

  • Consent to AI processing of your CV
  • Consent to sharing your CV with employers (with your permission)
  • Understanding that job matching is free; Plus subscriptions are for optional insights
  • Agreement to these terms and our Privacy Policy


Part B: Employer Terms and Conditions

By posting jobs or using TalentScore as an employer, you agree to these terms.


1. Our Service

TalentScore is an AI-powered recruitment marketplace powered by Omnimatch. We connect employers with job seekers through intelligent matching algorithms and AI-powered candidate analysis.

How it works:

  • Post job listings with your requirements and preferences
  • Receive direct applications from matched candidates
  • Access AI-powered insights about candidate fit and qualifications
  • Make your own hiring decisions based on our analysis and your judgment

Important: TalentScore is a marketplace platform, not a recruitment agency. Candidates apply directly to your jobs, and you are responsible for all hiring decisions and employment relationships.


2. Pricing & Payment

Subscription Fee: £50 per month

What's included:

  • Post unlimited job listings
  • Receive unlimited candidate applications
  • AI-powered matching to relevant candidates
  • Detailed insights into candidate profiles, including:
    • Match scores and compatibility analysis
    • Skills and experience assessment
    • Salary expectations and availability

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly at £50/month

Free Trial: New employers receive 2 weeks free on signup

Cancellation: Cancel anytime through account settings or by emailing privacy@talentscore.pro. No refunds for partial months. Active job listings will be deactivated upon cancellation.


3. Your Responsibilities

Job Listings:

  • Must be accurate, truthful, and for genuine employment opportunities
  • Must comply with UK employment law (Equality Act 2010, etc.)
  • Must be free from discriminatory content or requirements
  • Must be clear about role, compensation, and working arrangements
  • No misleading descriptions, discriminatory requirements, pyramid schemes, or illegal activities

Candidate Interactions:

  • Respond to candidate applications in a reasonable timeframe
  • Conduct interviews and hiring processes professionally
  • Verify candidate references, qualifications, and right to work before hiring
  • Comply with UK employment law in all hiring decisions
  • Do not discriminate based on protected characteristics

Our Rights: We reserve the right to remove job listings or terminate accounts that violate these terms or UK law.


4. AI Processing (UK GDPR Required)

What Our AI Does:

  • Matches your job requirements to relevant candidate profiles
  • Generates compatibility scores between your jobs and candidates
  • Analyzes candidate CVs to extract skills, experience, and qualifications
  • Provides insights and recommendations to help your hiring decisions

Your Rights:

Limitation: AI is not perfect. Final hiring decisions are your responsibility, not our system's.


5. Candidate Data (UK GDPR)

You become a Data Controller for candidate data when they apply to your jobs. This means:

  • You must handle candidate data in compliance with UK GDPR
  • You must not use candidate data for purposes beyond recruitment without explicit consent
  • You must delete candidate data when no longer needed for recruitment purposes

When you act as a Data Controller, our Data Processing Agreement governs our obligations as Data Processor. Please review the DPA to understand when it applies and your responsibilities under UK GDPR.


6. Employment Relationships

You Are the Employer: When you hire a candidate through TalentScore:

  • You are solely responsible for the employment relationship
  • You must comply with UK employment law
  • You are responsible for contracts, payroll, benefits, and all employment obligations
  • We are not party to your employment relationships

No Guarantees: We don't guarantee candidate performance, qualifications, or suitability. You are responsible for conducting proper due diligence before hiring.


7. Disclaimers

No Guarantees: We don't guarantee:

  • Candidate quality, accuracy of information, or hiring outcomes
  • Job posting visibility or application volume
  • Employment relationships or candidate performance

Liability: Our liability to you is limited to £1,000, except for death, injury, or fraud (which cannot be limited by law).

Platform Availability: We may suspend service for maintenance without liability.


8. Termination

You: Cancel your subscription anytime via settings or email privacy@talentscore.pro. Active job listings will be deactivated upon cancellation.

Us: We may terminate your account for breach of terms, discriminatory job listings, unlawful activity, or misuse of the platform.
