TalentScore Terms of Service

Welcome to TalentScore. These terms are designed to be simple and fair - we want you to trust us as your recruitment partner.
1. Our Service
TalentScore provides AI-powered recruitment services to help you find and engage exceptional candidates for permanent roles and contract positions. We combine technology with human expertise to deliver candidates ready to interview.
What We Do:
- Analyse your job requirements and refine criteria with you
- Source candidates from job boards and our candidate pool
- Evaluate and rank applicants using AI-powered assessments
- Deliver shortlists with detailed scoring and insights
2. Pricing & Payment
Standard Pricing:
For Permanent Roles:
- 12% placement fee of the candidate's first-year salary
- 6% placement fee for your first hire with TalentScore
- No upfront fees - you only pay when a candidate starts work
For Contract Roles:
- 12% placement fee of the total contract value (or first-year value for contracts over 12 months)
- 6% placement fee for your first contractor engagement with TalentScore
- No upfront fees - you only pay when a contractor starts work
When Payment is Due:
- Payment is due on the candidate's/contractor's first day of work
- Invoice will be sent once the start date is confirmed
- Payment terms: 30 days from invoice date
- If you are late in paying our invoice, we may charge you annual interest of 5% above the Bank of England's base interest rate
3. Our Replacement Guarantee
For Permanent Roles:
If a candidate you hire through TalentScore leaves or is terminated for any reason within 3 months of their start date, we will conduct a free replacement search at no additional cost.
For Contract Roles:
If a contractor you engage through TalentScore leaves or is terminated for any reason within the first month we will conduct a free replacement search at no additional cost.
What This Means:
- No placement fee for the replacement search
- Same level of service and candidate quality
- We'll work with you to understand what went wrong and refine our search
4. Your Responsibilities
To help us find the best candidates for you:
- Provide accurate job specifications and requirements
- Respond to candidate submissions in a reasonable timeframe
- Notify us promptly when a candidate/contractor accepts an offer or starts work
- Inform us if a guaranteed candidate/contractor leaves within the guarantee period
- Verify candidate references, qualifications, and right to work before hiring
5. Introductions
Once we introduce a candidate to you:
- Our placement fee applies if you hire or engage them within 12 months of our introduction, for any role (permanent or contract)
- If the candidate was in your active recruitment pipeline within the 6 months prior to our introduction, let us know immediately and no fee applies
- You make the final decision on whether to interview or hire any candidate we submit
6. Confidentiality
- We'll keep your hiring needs and company information confidential
- We'll handle all candidate data responsibly and in compliance with UK data protection laws
- You agree to keep candidate information we share with you confidential
7. Cancellation
You can stop working with us at any time:
- Simply let us know you'd like to pause or end the search
- You're only responsible for fees related to candidates who have already started work
- No penalties or cancellation fees
8. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount of placement fees you've paid us for the specific hire or engagement in question. You make the final hiring/engagement decision and are responsible for your employment or contractual relationships with candidates.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing, or legal requirements. When we make changes:
- For material changes (such as pricing or guarantee terms), we'll notify you by email before the changes take effect
- Continued use of our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms
- Changes will not apply retroactively to placements made under previous terms

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. All disputes arising in connection with these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
